Position Summary:

The Install Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the installation team, ensuring high-quality insulation work and superior customer service. This role involves leading installers, coordinating service calls, managing inventory, and training team members in various insulation techniques. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with foam and fiberglass insulation and adept at maintaining installation equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Conduct pre-shift meetings, delegate tasks, and oversee insulation installations.
  • Installation Work: Lead the team in installing foam, fiberglass, and batt insulation in walls, attics, and crawl spaces.
  • Customer Service: Ensure customer satisfaction by educating clients on product features and installation processes.
  • Service Calls: Schedule and manage service calls to align with homeowner schedules and company needs.
  • Inventory Management: Track inventory and reorder supplies as needed.
  • Training: Train new and existing team members on insulation installation techniques and equipment usage.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and fix any issues with insulation equipment or installation challenges.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure job sites are clean and that the work is done right the first time.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure safety measures are followed during all installations.
Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and team communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of insulation installation equipment and techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with foam, fiberglass, and batt insulation.
  • Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair insulation equipment.
  • Customer service orientation with an emphasis on education and support.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
  • Physical ability to work on ladders (up to 28 ft), lift up to 80 lbs, and operate hand tools.
  • Attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.
  • Non-negligent driving record and ability to handle customer payments when required.
Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Experience with home construction, siding, and hand tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot both equipment and installation-related issues.
  • A commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Working Conditions:

  • Must pass a physical exam (275 lbs weight limit in working clothes and safety gear).
  • Work in both extreme cold and heat environments.
  • Perform tasks in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
